Working with its many public and private partners, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has developed various quality improvement efforts, including Hospital Compare. Hospital Compare provides users with information on how well hospitals in a specific geographic area care for all their adult patients with certain medical conditions. This information helps users to compare the quality of care hospitals provide. Hospital Compare was created through the efforts of the CMS and organizations that represent hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations, other Federal agencies and the public.
Listed below are measures included in the Hospital Compare that have been submitted to NQMC and have met the NQMC Inclusion Criteria to date. Check back frequently for additional Hospital Compare measures that will be posted to the NQMC Web site.
