How to Browse

The National Quality Measures Clearinghouse™ (NQMC), sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, provides you with several options for browsing NQMC content. These options are accessible from the NQMC Homepage and the Browse box of the Side Menu.

Disease/Condition Browse

Use the NQMC Disease/Condition Browse to find measures linked to a particular disease or condition term derived from the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) classification.

Treatment/Intervention Browse

Use the NQMC Treatment/Intervention Browse to find measures linked to a particular treatment or intervention term derived from the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) Unified Medical Language System (UMLS).

Domain Browse

Use the NQMC Domain Browse to find measures linked to a particular domain of measurement.

Organization Browse

Use the NQMC Organization Browse to find measures linked to a particular submitting organization or measure developer.

Measure Archive

This feature provides a complete list of measure summaries that have been withdrawn from the Web site. Measure summaries that have been permanently withdrawn are listed under "Withdrawn NQMC Summaries." Measure summaries that have been superseded by a more recent version are listed under "Updated NQMC Summaries." The Withdrawn and Updated summary listings are organized alphabetically by organization name.

Measure Index

This feature provides a complete list of measure summaries currently available on the NQMC Web site. The index is organized alphabetically by organization name.

Measure Initiatives Browse

Use the Measure Initiatives Browse to find measures in NQMC that are associated with a specific measurement initiative.

Measures Most Viewed Browse

Use the Measures Most Viewed Browse to find a listing of the most frequently viewed measures on the NQMC Web site.
