DESCRIPTION

RATIONALE

Cessation of tobacco use is most successful when healthcare providers work together with patients to identify and implement effective treatment strategies. Persons with cardiovascular disease (CVD) who stop smoking reduce their cardiovascular risk by approximately 35%.
